We Are Done Waiting.

September 8, 2020 (MICHIGAN) — On September 8, 2020, former congressional candidate Solomon Rajput announced on The Young Turks show that he will be launching Done Waiting, a disruptive army of young people fighting to elect progressives and bend the establishment to the will of the people. The organization adopted Rajput’s former campaign slogan to signify that demanding radical changes in our democracy is about more than one candidate, or one election; it is about firing up an energized and organized movement to demand systemic change. With a starting base of hundreds of volunteers across the nation, Done Waiting is poised to send hundreds of thousands of phone calls, texts, and letters to engage voters and pressure the establishment. The organization will endorse grassroots progressive candidates who meet progressive policy requirements and give them the infrastructure to expand their base. Done Waiting also harnesses the power of social media to educate the next generation of voters and foster progressive civic engagement.

According to Solomon Rajput, the organization’s founding chair, “This moment in our nation’s history is a crucial battle to both preserve democracy and expand liberty and justice for all. We’re Done Waiting. Our fight has only just begun.”
